Meet Mortgage Loan Officer Steve Ahrens. Steve has been a resident of Lake Havasu City since 2003. Steve is an Army Veteran, having served in the storied 7th Infantry Division.  After completing his enlistment, Steve joined the California Highway Patrol where he served as a patrol officer, detective and sergeant until retirement in 2016.  Steve worked patrol, gangs, and vehicle theft.  He was also a motorcycle supervisor in the East Los Angeles Area.  After retirement from the CHP, Steve worked as a Career and Technical Education Teacher at Lake Havasu High School for the 2017-2018 school year, bringing a new program on-line for students interested in law enforcement careers.  Steve is Board President of HAVEN Family Resource Center, a non-profit and he also sits on the Mohave County Crime Victims Compensation Board.  In his spare time, Steve enjoys assisting others in reaching their fitness goals as a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer.

Steve loves helping others and brings a valuable set of skills to the mortgage industry.  He has the work ethic and tenacity to do everything ethically and legally possible to get clients qualified for their home loans.  Steve will work hard for his clients and will ensure the process of obtaining a home loan or refinance is a pleasant one. 

Steve is married to his beautiful wife, Danielle.  They have two sons, Wyatt and Chase.  Wyatt is a Detention Officer with Mohave County and Chase will be starting at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying aerospace engineering in the fall of 2019.  Steve enjoys boating, camping, CrossFit, travel, reading, and always challenging himself with new experiences.
